KHI BỐ THÍ CHO NGƯỜI NGHÈO.

Tin mừng theo thánh Mat-Thêu, chương 6, đoạn từ câu (1) đến câu (4).

..."Khi làm việc lành phúc đức, anh em phải coi chừng, chớ có phô trương cho thiên hạ thấy. Bằng không, anh em sẽ chẳng được Cha của anh em, Ðấng ngự trên trời, ban thưởng. Vậy khi bố thí, đừng có khua chiêng đánh trống, như bọn đạo đức giả thường biểu diễn trong hội đường và ngoài phố xá, cốt để người ta khen. Thầy bảo thật anh em, chúng đã được phần thưởng rồi. Còn anh, khi bố thí, đừng cho tay trái biết việc tay phải làm, để việc anh bố thí được kín đáo. Và Cha của anh, Ðấng thấu suốt những gì kín đáo, sẽ trả công cho anh".

Matthew 6,1-4.
..."Be careful not to parade your uprightness in public to attract attention, otherwise you will lose all reward from your Father in heaven. So when you give alms, do not have it trumpeted before you, this is what the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets to win human admiration. In truth I tell you, they have had their reward. But when you give alms, your left hand must not know what your right is doing, your almsgiving must be secret, and your Father who sees all that is done in secret will reward you".

Matthieu 6,1-4.
..."Gardez-vous de pratiquer votre justice devant les hommes, pour vous faire remarquer d'eux; sinon, vous n'aurez pas de récompense auprès de votre Père qui est dans les cieux. Quand donc tu fais l'aumône, ne va pas le claironner devant toi; ainsi font les hypocrites, dans les synagogues et les rues, afin d'être glorifiés par les hommes; en vérité je vous le dis, ils tiennent déjà leur récompense. Pour toi, quand tu fais l'aumône, que ta main gauche ignore ce que fait ta main droite, afin que ton aumône soit secrète; et ton Père, qui voit dans le secret, te le rendra".
