Tin mừng Chúa GiêSu KiTô theo Thánh Lu-Ca, chương 5, đoạn từ câu (33) đến câu (39).
Khi ấy, những người biệt phái và luật sĩ nói với Chúa Giêsu rằng: "Tại sao môn đồ của Gioan năng ăn chay và cầu nguyện, cả môn đồ của những người biệt phái cũng vậy, còn môn đệ của Thầy lại cứ ăn uống?" Người đáp lại rằng: "Các ông có thể bắt các bạn hữu đến dự tiệc cưới, ăn chay, đang khi tân lang còn ở với họ chăng? Nhưng sẽ đến những ngày mà tân lang phải đem đi khỏi họ, bấy giờ họ sẽ ăn chay trong những ngày ấy".
Người còn nói với họ thí dụ này rằng: "Không ai xé miếng vải áo mới mà vá vào áo cũ; chẳng vậy, áo mới đã bị xé, mà mảnh vải áo mới lại không ăn hợp với áo cũ. Cũng chẳng ai đổ rượu mới vào bầu da cũ; chẳng vậy, rượu mới sẽ làm vỡ bầu da, rượu chảy ra và bầu da hư mất. Nhưng rượu mới phải đổ vào bầu da mới, thì giữ được cả hai. Và không ai đang uống rượu cũ mà lại thèm rượu mới, vì người ta nói: 'Rượu cũ thì ngon hơn' ".

LUKE 5,33-39.
33 They then said to him, 'John's disciples are always fasting and saying prayers, and the disciples of the Pharisees, too, but yours go on eating and drinking.'
34 Jesus replied, 'Surely you cannot make the bridegroom's attendants fast while the bridegroom is still with them?
35 But the time will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them; then, in those days, they will fast.'
36 He also told them a parable, 'No one tears a piece from a new cloak to put it on an old cloak; otherwise, not only will the new one be torn, but the piece taken from the new will not match the old.
37 'And nobody puts new wine in old wineskins; otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins and run to waste, and the skins will be ruined.
38 No; new wine must be put in fresh skins.
39 And nobody who has been drinking old wine wants new. "The old is good," he says.'

LUC 5,33-39.
Luc 5, 33 Mais eux lui dirent: "Les disciples de Jean jeûnent fréquemment et font des prières, ceux des Pharisiens pareillement, et les tiens mangent et boivent!"
Luc 5, 34 Jésus leur dit: "Pouvez-vous faire jeûner les compagnons de l'époux pendant que l'époux est avec eux?
Luc 5, 35 Mais viendront des jours... et quand l'époux leur aura été enlevé, alors ils jeûneront en ces jours-là."
Luc 5, 36 Il leur disait encore une parabole: "Personne ne déchire une pièce d'un vêtement neuf pour la rajouter à un vieux vêtement; autrement, on aura déchiré le neuf, et la pièce prise au neuf jurera avec le vieux.
Luc 5, 37 "Personne non plus ne met du vin nouveau dans des outres vieilles; autrement, le vin nouveau fera éclater les outres, et il se répandra et les outres seront perdues.
Luc 5, 38 Mais du vin nouveau, il le faut mettre en des outres neuves.
Luc 5, 39 Et personne, après avoir bu du vin vieux, n'en veut du nouveau. On dit en effet: C'est le vieux qui est bon."
